Maritime software provider Ascenz has become the latest company to join Inmarsat’s Fleet Data ecosystem, with the Ascenz Shipulse system to be integrated with the Inmarsat Cloud infrastructure to provide better access to customer’s shipboard data.
Inmarsat’s Fleet Data collects data from onboard sensors, preprocesses it, and uploads it to a central Cloud-based database equipped with a dashboard and an Application Process Interface (API).
As a Certified Fleet Data Application Provider, Ascenz will now be able to connect its Shipulse system directly to the Fleet Data API to carry out analytics on behalf of its users and offer performance insights and customised reports to support optimised vessel performance.
